The real worship

The real worship is not just thanksgiving or praise.

It’s the unstoppable, uncontainable, undescribable and inexpressible and yet joyful, humble and loving reaction of the soul who perceives the meaning of the power of the Cross and the resurrection of the Holy Son of God.

It comes from a heart who understands and acknowledges that its main and primary living reason is to honour God.

Once I understand I was born for His own pleasure, saved by His loving Grace for that purpose, I don’t care how much I’m blessed or hurt, trusted or deceived, loved or rejected, wealthy or in need, healthy or not sound, married or single, famous or forgotten, in authority or in submission, etc.

But, even to realise that, it takes the grace of God.
